Mizani - Mage Robe Variants and Colour Guide

A massive new and improved update to an old reference sheet for all the variants in robes of mages in my world of Mizani.

Colour Chart
Each branch has a distinctive colour to help on lookers differentiate between mages what element they possess with the exception of Intel which is its own division.
While some mages can rarely develop a second or, even rarer, a third elemental affinity, they usually stay in the branch they were first assigned to.
Mages that ascend to the rank of Captain and higher (or are a person of importance) have golden trimmings while Lieutenants and lower mage robes have white.

While mages are allowed to modify their uniforms or wear the other variants that suit them, there are however "standards" for different situations and environments:

Apprentice
This uniform is given to new mages who have joined the guild and begun their studies. This uniform is mostly commonly seen been worn by young adults or teens as they develop their skills and discover their elemental affinity. The main tunic of the outfit would be swapped out for a coloured version to match their elemental branch, usually after their initiation or if they discover their element early.

Basic
After discovering their element through sheer practice, the initiation and obtained and display a competent use of their anima, an Apprentice will be raised in the guild's ranks proper and be given a set of this uniform with its colours depending on their element. This is the official, standard uniform of the guild and is the most commonly seen.

Armoured
The armoured variant is rarely seen fully assembled as it's only used in times of war or mages that have the physical body strength to wear it, many mages that see combat often typically just use the arms, legs and shoulder pieces. Designed with the idea of allowing the wearer as much movement as possible to perform incantations while still protecting vitals. Helmets are optional for those that want them. There is also an even heavier version that borrows plating from the Auxillium army though it is rare to see it in use.

Desert
The desert variant is about being as light as possible while keeping the wearer protected from the sun, heat and sandstorms along with carrying the essentials such as a large water skin and a large pack of rations that with care can last up to 2 weeks when traveling Mizani's blistering desert cap. The outfit can also be used in humid areas such as jungles or generally warmer climates.

Arctic
The arctic variant is THE uniform for any Ice mage or anyone brave enough to venture into the frigid region of Capiau or generally cold places like mountain peaks. While ice mages are naturally resistant to cold temperatures and fire mages can ward it off, neither are impervious to subzero temperatures. It can also come with a large backpacks that contains a one-man camping kit and other essentials for long journeys.

Travel
The travel variant was made with "all-purpose" mind set. Borrowing parts of various outfits this variant is commonly seen worn by patrolling mages in the wilderness or the more adventurous mages who want to explore.

Intel
The intel variant is only worn by members of Intel branch, a separate branch made up of different branch members and non mages that act as Auxillium's intel network and top operatives (Is like the CIA of this world).

These near all-black robes are to protect the wearers identity along with a codename and a white mask that has a symbol pertaining to the wearer on it.

The only member who has any formal recognition in the Intel branch is their leader, Taina Tanaly who also doubles as the Summon Branch Master, and it's captains, Taina wears a white version of the robe with the guild's sigil on her mask. The only way to tell who intel members are out of their robes is their gold trimmings on their outfits however the gold is also used for people of importance or recognition.
