Mizani Bestiary - Lapivadis

Was able to stop playing Monster Hunter long enough to do this.

Lapivadis are huge passive creatures that live in murky lakes and rivers and primarily feed on insects that live near their nests. While extremely passive and typically avoid  danger but they will use their rigid scales and digger claws to fight back if they are cornered. They are unfortunately they're sometimes hunted for their scales which some use as pieces to make armor and their meat.  Their young usually ride on the back of parents before they're able to swim on their own and from their their scales will harden and their fur will slowly be dyed green as algae and moss get stuck as they grow older.
